Verification of Licensure and / or Exams
Verification of Active Mississippi PE / PS/ EI / SI or Mississippi Exam Scores
There currently is no charge to verify the licensure of an active initial Mississippi PE or PS license, an EI or SI enrollment or these individuals' exams passed in Mississippi. Visit the Licensee Search tab to complete your online search for current licensees.
As of July 1, 2023 there is a charge of $50.00 to verify a COMITY and/or lapsed PE or PS license, and his/her exams taken in Mississippi, to cover the cost of the archived records research.
Please mail your $50.00 check payable to the Miss. PE/PS Board to the address indicated below. Upon receipt of your payment, your verification request will be processed.
Verifications through your MyNCEES Account
Go to your MyNCEES account on the NCEES website (www.ncees.org)
Once logged in, go to "Update an exam" or "Update a license" (found among the links within the right hand column on the NCEES website). On this page, select "REQUEST License / Exam Verification". Select the board that you need to have verify an exam or a license (or both). You will then receive further instructions (where applicable), provided by that board regarding any other form that needs to be filled out or any associated fee, if applicable.
Electronic Board-to-Board Verifications
Do you need the Mississippi Board to send a verification of your license, enrollment or examination(s) in Mississippi to another state licensing board? If so, please visit the NCEES website to complete the required information, and submit your request electronically. You must have a MyNCEES account or create one in order to participate in the NCEES electronic verification program.

You can also use this link if you are applying for a Mississippi license, and you want to request other states to verify your exams and licenses to the Mississippi Board through NCEES. However, please be made aware that the other state licensing board must currently participate in the NCESS electronic verification program.
If your state is not listed or does not participate in the NCEES online verification program, please download / complete and submit our paper Licensure verification request form.
If you need the Mississippi Board to verify exams / enrollment / licensure to ANOTHER state board, but that other board does not participate in the NCEES electronic board-to-board verification, then you should mail the other state board's verification form to us and include a PRE-ADDRESSED ENVELOPE WITH CORRECT POSTAGE ALREADY AFFIXED (so that we may mail it directly to the other board).
