Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors

ASCE President and PEPLS Board Member Dennis D. Truax was among the group of bipartisan members of Congress and business leaders from around the country who watched as President Biden signed the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) into law on Monday afternoon, November 15, 2021.  

The five-year, $1.2 trillion infrastructure package marks the country’s largest investment in infrastructure in nearly a century. The bill, developed as a bipartisan effort, passed the Senate in August before passing in the House of Representatives late into the night of Nov. 5 – ASCE’s 169th birthday.
