At its Board of Directors meeting held on August 18, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) approved Emeritus status for former Board members Joseph E. Lauderdale, PE and Sarah M. Tracy, PE.
An Emeritus Member of NCEES is a former member of a Member Board (in this case the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Surveyors) who is duly recommended by that Member Board and approved by the NCEES Board of Directors at it annual meeting. Such appointments shall be reviewed annually by each Member Board and shall remain in effect until the Board of Directors is notified otherwise by the Member Board.
Emeritus Members shall have the privilege of the floor at meetings of the Council and may serve on any committee or task force to which they are duly appointed under the Bylaws.
