After more than 23 years of service to the State of Mississippi (twenty-two of which were with the licensure board), veteran Licensing Officer Barbara Mills has retired. Ms. Mills leaves the agency with some phenomenal stats.
We estimate that within just the last ten years, she has helped to license more than 6,125 engineers and surveyors in the state of Mississippi as well as assisted 1,400 engineering students with enrollments. Her 23 years of service means her impact on the lives of the engineers and surveyors licensed as well as to the growth of the profession has been enormous.
We are very grateful that she chose the licensure board some 23 years ago and in her we realize what dedication and commitment to ones craft is.
