Steven A. Twedt, PE
Bio:
Mr. Twedt is a 1986 Graduate of Mississippi State University in Civil Engineering. Steve served the people of Mississippi for over 23 years as a professional engineer with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). He retired from MDOT as District Six Engineer in 2010 and joined Neel-Schaffer. Steve is a Senior Vice President in the company and serves as the South Mississippi Area Manager coordinating work among offices in Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Laurel, McComb and Pascagoula.
Steve is a Past President of the Mississippi Engineering Society (MES) and represented MES on the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) House of Delegates. He received the designation of Fellow from both organizations. Steve was appointed to Post 5 of the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Engineers and Surveyors in 2016 and served as Board President in 2019-2020.
